Recipe: Traditional Goat Karahi

Ingredients:

  • 2–3 tbsp Goat Tallow
  • 1 lb goat meat (bone-in preferred)
  • 2 tomatoes (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Green chilies (to taste)
  • Salt, red chili powder, crushed coriander
  • Fresh cilantro & julienned ginger (for garnish)

Method:

Heat goat tallow in a karahi or heavy pan. Add goat meat and sear until lightly browned. Stir in ginger-garlic paste, spices, and crushed tomatoes. Cook on medium-high heat, stirring until the tallow separates and the meat becomes tender. Garnish with fresh cilantro, ginger, and green chilies. Serve hot with naan or roti.
